No morning activity
You set a latest-by time — for example “Mum is usually up by 9:30am”. If EinerDa has detected no movement by then, a push notification goes to you and the contacts you chose.
EinerDa quietly senses whether a loved one is at home and moving — and lets you know if something doesn’t add up.
No camera. No microphone. No feeling of being watched.
Sensor · App · instant notification — set up in three minutes
The name
The name plays on the German question «Einer da?» — «Anyone home?».
The app answers, quietly: «Mom is home.» Or «No one is home.» That’s all you need to know.
Form meets function
13 cm across, 4 cm tall. Fits on any sideboard, into any bookshelf, beside any vase. Black, matte, calm — so unobtrusive that the person it protects barely notices it.
At the front, slightly recessed: a tiny green dot. It only says “I’m awake”. No blinking lights, no sounds, no display. The reassurance lives in your hand — on your phone.
One outlet is enough. No battery to fail. No maintenance ritual. A power draw you barely notice on standby. EinerDa runs as quietly and reliably as a good fridge.
A simple idea
We built EinerDa because the question “Is Mum okay?” shouldn’t turn into a 7am phone call every morning. Or that sinking feeling at night when nobody picks up. EinerDa turns “I hope so” into “I know so”.
Three situations. One notification.
EinerDa watches for three patterns that matter in the daily life of an older or vulnerable person — and alerts you exactly when one of them tips.
You set a latest-by time — for example “Mum is usually up by 9:30am”. If EinerDa has detected no movement by then, a push notification goes to you and the contacts you chose.
Present but motionless for an unusual length of time. The sensor tells the difference between watching TV quietly and a stillness that isn’t normal — and raises the alarm in time.
When no one has been detected in the living space for an unusually long stretch — say, more than 12 hours — EinerDa raises a flag. You decide the threshold.
Who EinerDa is for
Beat calls her briefly every morning. When nobody picks up, the worry starts — is she out, still asleep, or has something happened? With EinerDa, he sees on his phone: 7:42am, movement in the kitchen. All good. Sunday’s call becomes a conversation again, not a check-in.
After three weeks in hospital, Heinz wants his independence back. His daughter doesn’t want to surveil him — but she needs to know if he falls again. EinerDa spots when someone is present but motionless for hours, and raises the alarm in time, before hours go by.
Lukas has a cognitive impairment and lives semi-independently. A camera is out of the question for the family — too invasive, too much pressure. EinerDa gives the family only binary information: is he there, is he moving. Dignity stays, safety is added.
While Renato is at work, Sandra is at home alone. She doesn’t want to keep texting in — and he doesn’t want to keep asking. EinerDa shows him hour by hour: movement within range. Anything out of the ordinary, he hears about immediately.
EinerDa sits unobtrusively in the living space — on a sideboard, on the bookshelf, in a wall outlet. It communicates one thing only: that all is well.
The app
No endless menus. No daily charts. A clear answer — and a message only when one is truly warranted.
Privacy — radically different
Other solutions film, listen in or send every step to a corporate cloud. EinerDa measures only one thing: is someone in the room right now, and are they moving?
That signal cannot identify people. It cannot reconstruct conversations. It cannot tell whether someone has guests — only whether there is life in the room.
Set up in three minutes
EinerDa is not a DIY project. Unbox, plug in, open the app — done. No installer. No contract. No incomprehensible menus.
Plug the sensor into the wall outlet in the living space. A small green LED confirms the device is ready. Placement isn’t critical — what matters is that it can “see” the room.
EinerDa app from the App Store or Google Play. Bluetooth pairing detects the sensor automatically, you enter your Wi-Fi password once — and it’s online.
You set when an alarm makes sense (morning time, fall threshold, away duration) and who should be notified. Push, email, optionally SMS.
How the data flows
Four stations, clearly separated. You see — and control — every step.
Contactless sensor detects motion & presence. No images, no audio.
On-device, the signal condenses into “present / absent / moving”.
Only alarm events go encrypted to Apple/Google. No history.
Push, email, optionally SMS. You choose who learns what, and when.
Launch
The first devices ship before Christmas to families on the early list. Limited first batch — being early means priority and the launch price.

We’ll get in touch personally as soon as you can pre-order — with price, delivery date and a short setup note. One email. No marketing in between.
Frequently asked
No. There is no optics and no microphone inside the housing — we physically cannot record anything, even if we wanted to. The sensor delivers only the answer to “is someone moving right now”.
For push notifications to your phone: yes. Inside your home network EinerDa works fully without the cloud — you can connect directly over Wi-Fi and see status. The cloud is used only as a postal service for alarm messages.
No. You buy the device once. App, updates and push notifications are permanently included. Should we ever offer paid premium features, the core stays free for existing customers.
Three minutes. Plug it in, open the app, enter the Wi-Fi password. In setup mode the device speaks to your app directly over Bluetooth — no keyboard, no screen, no installer needed.
As soon as power and network return, the device reconnects automatically. If it stays offline for an extended period, you get a notification — so you don’t mistake a quiet sensor gap for “all good”.
Yes. One app, multiple sensors, multiple people, multiple locations. Siblings can share the same sensor and both receive notifications.
EinerDa is built in Switzerland by an independent team of engineers, with input from care professionals. No corporate parent, no data-hungry investor.
We publish the final price together with the launch. Those who sign up today get an early-bird price and a reserved unit from the first production batch.
